Whitney Way Thore had to deal with a lot of shocking truths when the new season of MBFFL began premiering. It was a devastating moment for her and her family to deal with the passing of Babs. Yet, they decided to put their best foot forward and overcome the loss by coming up with new adventures for Glenn.
That’s precisely how they found out about Glenn having a whole other family. It was before he married the love of his life, Barbara Thore, that he had a fling before he went to Vietnam. So, the new season showcased the Thore family going to Alabama and meeting Angie and her family. That’s when they found out more about their estranged family.
Angie decided to reveal a big secret from her life. She told her family and the MBFFL audience that she had a baby when she was merely 16 years old. The new cast member ended up having a son and couldn’t give him the life she should have back then. So, Angie gave him up for adoption.
After this reveal, speculations say that this could be the reason why Angie decided to become part of the show. Being on TV would probably increase the chance of finding her son sooner and reconnecting. She did vow that she intends to make amends and find her estranged son. But there has been no confirmation from the castmates if this was actually the reason for her to do the show or not, but fans seem very positive.
MBFFL: Glenn Is Willing To Move To Alabama To Help Angie!
While Angie announced her big secret to the family, she wasn’t the only member who had made a big decision. Whitney Way Thore’s father, Glenn, also decided to make some major changes. He revealed that he wished to move to Alabama. Whitney like always, was taken aback and was very hurt with this.
Throughout the new season, Whitney’s actions made it obvious that she was having issues with how much her father was getting close to her elder half-sister, Angie. She also acted very abruptly when Glenn chose the latter instead of the former to accompany him on a trip.
But, everything is clear as to why Whitney’s dad has been wishing to spend more time with Angie. He wants to help his elder daughter to locate her estranged son. This is precisely why he wished to uproot his life to Alabama. This gesture really moved the MBFFL fans.
