TLC’s Shauna Rae Lesick took to Instagram yesterday to reveal she has been hiding a BIG secret. She has a new lover and she’s very happy with them. The I Am Shauna Rae star shared tons of photos with her partner. She, however, used emoji faces to block her partner’s face in all of the photos.
TLC’s Shauna Rae Lesick included a lengthy statement making her relationship Instagram official. It, however, was a soft launch as she left out any identifying information. She, however, did explain why she was hiding her partner from the world.
Unfortunately, Shauna’s soft launch was met with a lot of confusion from her followers. The comments also included a hefty amount of the hate and judgment she was afraid of.

TLC’s Shauna Rae Teases New Lover
In total, the 24-year-old shared four photos featuring her new lover. Two of the photos included herself and her mysterious partner. The other two photos were just of her partner. In one photo, her partner poured a bowl of cereal in the kitchen. The other photo featured her partner sleeping.
She penned as she spilled the beans on her secret relationship: “all you really need to know is they make me happy and I don’t know if I’d be as far in my goals without them. Please know that all I ask from y’all is to support me and refrain from being hateful toward them or my relationship.”
Your welcome to your opinion but if it’s not supportive you can discuss elsewhere. Any hate towards my partner is hate towards me and I don’t tolerate that. I support each and every one of you and I ask for that respect back.
Pronouns Leave TLC Fans Confused
In response to the reveal, many fans questioned why exactly she was hiding her partner from the world. Nearly every comment, however, wanted to focus on her choice of pronoun. Visually, fans agreed it looked like her partner was a male. So, why was she referring to her partner as “they/them” in the caption?
Sadly, most fans speculated Shauna Rae was “being woke.” There, however, were some who wondered if her partner might be transexual.
