ONE-Thousand-Lb. Sisters’ Tammy Slaton has undergone an impressive weight loss transformation in the past few years, and there are before-and-after photos to prove it.

The 37-year-old seemed to be on a rollercoaster while attempting to lose weight.

When the show 1000-Lb. Sisters started in 2020, Tammy weighed 605 pounds.

She was weighed at a junkyard at the end of the very first episode of the reality show.

After finding out how difficult weight loss is, Tammy seemed to give up completely on her mission.

In Season 2, fans learned that she was hospitalized when she was infected with Covid-19.

While she lost about 55 pounds before the pandemic, she gained almost all of it back when she got sick.

After that, Tammy continued to put on weight until she was 717 pounds.

When she reached her highest weight, Tammy’s siblings became even more concerned for her health, and they even started planning for her death.

The TLC star was drinking a lot, vaping, and eating whatever she wanted.

Thankfully, in January 2022, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Tammy checked herself into a rehabilitation facility in Ohio.

A source close to Tammy said: “She’s doing it on her own and she’s choosing to be close to eight hours away from her family.”

Although she’s tried rehab before, this time she found major success and stayed for 14 months.

UNDER THE KNIFE

In the summer of 2022, Tammy reached her goal weight to get bariatric surgery and was even standing and walking.

Bariatric surgery, also called gastric bypass surgery, is an operation on the digestive system to help a patient lose weight quickly.

A source close to Tammy exclusively told The U.S. Sun the procedure went smoothly and there were minimal complications.

The source said: “It was a little scary, but she recovered quickly. The first few days were really tough on her, but she was still able to talk and was with it.”

The source claimed the nurses were “monitoring Tammy and making sure she’s staying on her diet after the surgery.

“She has been adjusting well and [her body] hasn’t rejected her medications.”

WHERE IS SHE TODAY

Tammy returned to her home in Kentucky after spending 14 months in the rehab facility.

The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that she returned home after abstaining from drinking alcohol, smoking, and vaping for nine months.

Tammy’s true and current weight has been revealed in court papers after her drastic body transformation.

The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that she weighed 448 pounds as of August 4, 2023.

Since she previously weighed 717 pounds, that means she shredded 269 pounds.

The television star had to give the court her personal information – including her weight – in light of her ongoing court trial.

Tammy was cited in August for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
