My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Way Thore And The Funeral Of Babs
Glenn Thore, the father of Whitney and Hunter upset a lot of people because he greenlit the funeral of Babs. Actually, a lot of fans were upset that they saw her so ill in the last season. Somehow, it felt terrible for a sector of the audience that TLC profited off her distress. So now that they see the family mourning Babs and seeing her off for the last time, viewers complain that it’s tacky.
Aside from the funeral, My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewers become sick and tired of Whitney with her constant manhunt. Each season, she has men on her mind, and each season, she fails. What probably killed it for viewers was the far-fetched and unbelievable story of the anonymous French tutor. Furthermore, they didn’t like the way she suggested that a larger-than-average woman couldn’t find love. For many of them, it sent the wrong message about empowerment.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life Fans Claim A Boycott Over Fake Half-Sister
In the new season, a half-sister names Angie suddenly appeared. And, the surprise was that it wasn’t a half-brother. Social media leaks came well ahead of the trailer about a half-sibling. In the new season, fans see that Whitney is all excited to meet Angie. However, the original leak suggested that she was furious about a sibling born out of wedlock. What gets to people even more, is that the leaker is usually reliable, and they talked about a brother, not a sister.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans seem convinced that the brother refused to film for the show, so TLC simply invented a half-sister and hired an actress. Of course, the network has been known to get creative with editing in the past, and MBFFL fans hate nothing more than fakery Then, there’s the scene of Whitney getting rescued because she couldn’t get enough oxygen when they went to the mountains of Switzerland. Of course, there cannot be a season without Whitney creating drama.
