Sister Wives fans recently spotted Meri Brown filming footage for new episodes in a very interesting location. Although Meri and Kody Brown have officially parted ways, it appears that the original wife will still be part of upcoming seasons.
Tensions in the family are reportedly at an all-time high right now. Amid all the drama, fans thought it was a little odd that Meri was seen filming at beautiful La Caille, of all places.

On Reddit, one user revealed that Meri Brown was spotting filming content for new episodes. And what’s more was that the filming took place at the beautiful La Caille.
“Posted in a Facebook Group Meri Filming in La Caille where Aspyn had her wedding in Utah!” a Redditor shared on the platform this week. They uploaded a photo of film crews standing around Meri and a group of other women to capture their conversation. Meri and the other women are seated at a table and appear to be planning something. One woman clearly has a notepad of some kind on her lap.

Several Redditors pointed out that it looked like Meri was meeting with wedding planners. After all, this was the same location where Aspyn Brown had her wedding.
“So is she planning some event there? Those look like event planners possibly sitting with her. Leon and Audrey’s wedding perhaps?” one Redditor asked. As far as anyone knows, Leon and Audrey still haven’t officially married yet.
“Honestly I will crack up if she’s helping Christine plan her wedding!!” another Reddit user joked.
But when will fans actually see this footage?
Although Sister Wives fans are excited to see Meri planning some sort of major event, it’s going to be a while before this scene ends up on TLC.
“We will see this scene in like 3 years,” another Reddit user pointed out. Season 17 covered Christine Brown‘s departure, which is old news in real life. As of the summer of 2023, Christine is engaged and actively planning a wedding of her own. But fans know that probably won’t make it into Season 18. It could be Season 19 or later until fans see Christine’s wedding.
For now, fans eagerly waiting for more news and spoilers about Season 18. Many weren’t sure that Meri would play a big role due to her split with Kody. On top of that, she really didn’t have much screen time in Season 17 either.
