90 Day Fiance: Evelin Villegas & Corey Rathgeber Still Together in Ecuador
To this day, Evelin Villegas and Corey Rathgeber are one of the most unlikely 90 Day Fiance pairs to stick together for the long haul. Even though Corey has always been smitten with his wife from Ecuador, she often came across as aloof when it came to their relationship.
Of course, 90 Day Fiance fans will never forget some of their most iconic The Other Way scenes, like when Evelin didn’t meet Corey after he landed in Ecuador, or when Evelin and her sisters tricked Corey into eating “pe*is soup”. Yet through all of that, they are still a married pair.
TLC Pair’s Beloved Fur Baby Struggling
Evelin Villegas recently opened up to her 90 Day Fiance fans about the “rare situation” her fur baby is in. Her beloved dog was a gift from Corey six years ago. The beautiful Husky was also a big part of Evelin and Corey’s wedding. They include their special baby boy in all of their Christmas cards as well. Unfortunately, the couple’s “baby” has a condition called Polyradiculoneuritis.
It turns out, it’s a rare condition that causes “inflammation of the nerves and nerve roots”. According to Evelin Villegas, her fur baby found a “dead chicken” on the beach, which seems to have led to the current condition.
Luckily, the good news is that their boy is walking on his own again – and it is expected that he will make a full recovery in “1 to 2 weeks”. Based on recent clips that Evelin shared, he seems to almost be back to his old self – enjoying the beach as usual. And, he even wears a cool hat after getting his head shaved.
Big Things in Store for 90 Day Fiance Pair
Despite the hardship and worry Evelin and Corey have been through while looking after their fur baby, they have some big things in the works. At the beginning of April, Corey revealed to his many 90 Day Fiance fans and followers that they are building a “beachfront resort” in Ecuador.
From the looks of it, this project is quite an undertaking. And, Corey is “super excited” to document the process for his 90 Day Fiance fans. Of course, Evelin and Corey have been successful for years running their bar on the beach. So, it looks like they are more than ready to scale that up considerably with their own resort.
So, if nothing else, this will be something to keep an eye on as building continues on their latest passion project. And luckily, they’ll have their furry family member there with them to welcome future guests.
