As of the time of publishing, Kody, Robyn (who is frequently described as his favorite wife), Janelle, and Meri were all residents of Arizona after relocating from Las Vegas, Nevada. The Brown family bought an empty piece of land called Coyote Pass with the intention of dividing it into four parts for each of his wives. Meri Brown’s Life Without ‘Sister Wives’ Kody Rejects Her Again
As of the time of writing, Meri, who served as Kody’s first legitimate wife, resides in a home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms in Flagstaff, Arizona. Meri has experienced plenty of drama, despite the fact that she has been with Kody the longest (no one can forget the cat fishing episode). In fact, Meri and Kody’s relationship is so tense that he, much to Meri’s dismay, recommended in an episode of Sister Wives from October 2022 that she return to Utah.
Along with buying the land in Coyote Pass, Robyn and Kody also bought a rental house in Flagstaff. While Janelle also resides on the Coyote Pass property, she does so in an RV, which has become a source of friction between her and Kody.
Kody Lashes Out At Janelle Brown
In a sneak peek for a November 2022 episode released by Entertainment Tonight, Kody made Janelle feel bad by attempting to get her to buy the house he and Christine shared before their breakup.
“I want a house. I’m ready to be settled in my own house,” Janelle said, with Kody retorting, “Yeah, but we’re a year from that, even if we start building right away.”
Janelle insisted she couldn’t afford two mortgages, which led Kody to accuse his wife of “lacking inventiveness” in terms of her living situation.
Who Is Still Married To Kody Brown?
Even though Meri and Kody divorced in 2015, they are still physically married and still consider themselves to be wedded spiritually. They divorced on paper so that Kody could wed Robyn, his fourth wife, and formally adopt her older three kids.
In November 2021, Christine surprised the public by announcing her separation from Kody. Their separation became final right away because they were never formally wed. Regarding Janelle, allegations concerning the state of her marriage to Kody have been spreading. Christine’s aunt Kristyn Decker told In Touch in November 2022 that she thinks Janelle left Kody “a long time ago.”
“As far as any relationship, any marriage goes, I think Janelle’s similar to, in Meri Brown’s situation where she’s just staying in a marriage that’s not really a marriage,” Aunt Krysten said about Kody & Janelle’s relationship “I don’t think they’ve had a marriage for a long, long, long time. It’s just platonic.” In the end Robyn Brown is the only legally married wife to Kody and is the only one he lives with as of this publishing. He has told the family Robyn is his soul mate, the kids have accepted it and have all moved on. Robyn is also the majority owner of the Coyote Pass property.
