Former 90 Day Fiancé stars Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva debuted their latest hair refresh after recently undergoing weight loss procedures. Darcey and Stacey, both 47-year-olds from Connecticut, were first a part of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1. Darcey was in a toxic relationship with now ex-boyfriend Jesse Meester, while Stacey was dating now-husband Florian Sukaj. But apart from their love lives with large age gaps, the TLC show has also largely focused on Darcey and Stacey getting plastic surgery. While fans generally enjoy a good makeover storyline, they feel Darcey and Stacey ruined their faces and bodies with some intense back-to-back alterations.

When Darcey and Stacey are not promoting their House of Eleven business, they can be found in a clinic going about doing modifications to themselves. This time around, the sisters decided to refresh their hairdos too feel more fun and young. “Hey guys, I got my glam today,” Darcey announced in her Instagram stories as she introduced her hairstylist and their assistant. Darcey revealed she and Stacey were getting hand-tied extensions and a fresh new color from the New Jersey-based hair experts. Darcey then posted several more videos to reveal how her hair looked after the session, and so did Stacey.

During Darcey & Stacey season 2, the twins came under fire for the quality of their hair extensions. In one of the episodes, Darcey and Stacey got their new extensions fitted, but before that, they had an elaborate ritual that involved them praying for their hair. The twins usually get long, platinum blonde extensions fitted, but they claim to have had “cursed” hair because some of their batches were bad. 90 Day Fiancé stars Darcey and Stacey want to make sure the hair is not holding on to any negativity from whoever had it before. It could be true because, in some different scenes featuring Darcey in season 2, the beads of her hair extensions were visible.
Fans mocked Darcey for letting the producers film her looking disheveled when she spends so much time and money perfecting her physical appearance. Many fans liked the idea of Darcey getting rid of her dead hair and cutting it into a stylish bob. In the past, TLC viewers have pointed out how Darcey and Stacey’s foreheads seemed to have become bigger because of their receding hairlines as a result of all the work they have done in the salon. Moreover, 90 Day Fiancé Stacey once commented that Florian loves her curly natural hair, and it was the same for Darcey, because Georgi Rusev loves her curls too.
Regardless of what their partners think, Darcey and Stacey feel their graying hair looks like “skunk patches” and that they have started to “look like Nana a bit” as they are growing old. But perhaps Darcey and Stacey have finally found hairstylists that will give them the perfect look.
