Sister Wives star Kody Brown reveals to TLC viewers that he wishes Christine had never decided to leave the family and go back to Utah.
Kody Brown is living in a dream world as he recently revealed on Sister Wives that he hoped Christine would never leave him. The father of 18 has pushed away many of his wives and even some of his older children thanks to his selfish ways. Now, as Kody wallows, he keeps talking about how he wishes he could change things.
During a recent episode, Sister Wives viewers watched as the entire Brown family came together for the first time since the pandemic started to celebrate Ysabel’s birthday and graduation. Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn were all nervous about how everyone would act, and Kody came across as quite angry. During his confessional, he admitted he’s living in a “delusional world” where he hoped Christine would never leave him. Since Christine’s announcement, Kody has been struggling with his religion.
Robyn Believes “Miracles” Can Happen
Kody not only hoped that Christine would change her mind, but he also wished that Ysabel would remain in Arizona and go to a state college, so the two could work on their relationship. The patriarch also secretly hoped that would help keep Christine in Arizona, too. Kody is not the only one in disbelief when it comes to losing Christine as a sister wife. Robyn also acted as if she was distraught, telling cameras that she believes God can make anything happen.
Kody’s bitterness and anger are hard for Sister Wives viewers to swallow since he brought a lot of his problems onto himself. Over the years, Kody has barely made time for Christine, Meri, or Janelle. He has even pushed some of his own children to the side in favor of others. Kody has never seen a problem with his behavior and instead continues to act as if he is the head of his household, thanks to the years-long power trip he has been on.
Thankfully for Christine, Kody’s delusional world is not reality, and she has stayed strong in her commitment to their separation. Sister Wives viewers are currently watching the couple figure out a custody arrangement for their daughter Truely. Christine has been extremely open when it comes to her issues with Kody and as viewers are aware, has moved with Truely to Utah. Since Christine’s exodus, Kody has tried his best to keep his remaining wives close, but Sister Wives viewers feel he may find one or two more ready to skip town soon.
