Meri Brown of Sister Wives got fans talking after she posted a cryptic quote on social media aimed at her estranged husband, Kody Brown.
Meri Brown has Sister Wives fans shocked again after she posted a meme directed at Kody Brown following his “patriarch” comment. The couple has been on the outs for a few years, but Meri still chooses to stay in the marriage. Kody is once again trying to be the head of the household but may be losing an ally when it comes to his first wife.
Sister Wives’ Meri, who is looking for passion, has taken to her Instagram Stories to share a dig at her husband, Kody. This is not the first time Meri has used quotes or memes to try and get her point across on social media. However, this particular post was shared directly after Kody revealed he wants to be the head of his household again. The father of 18 told his remaining three wives that he would be returning to “patriarchy.” It doesn’t seem like Meri has taken too kindly to the change, as her quote read a person should “know who they are.”
Kody Brown’s Wives Will Not Fall In Line
Janelle, Meri, and even Robyn Brown looked displeased at Kody’s monologue during Sunday’s new episode of Sister Wives season 17. Kody and his four wives had sat down for the discussion about Christine leaving the family. Kody said, narcissistically, that he wants to once again take control of the Brown family, claiming they would be run like a patriarchy and wants wives to conform. Janelle later told confessional cameras she had never agreed to live under his rule.
Kody went on to reveal that he became bitter after trying so hard to please everyone and finally realizing that his family was not what he thought it would be. Kody then doubled down, noting that if a wife couldn’t get behind his new decision, he would no longer allow the whole family to be together. Kody, whose been on a weight loss journey, said he is at a point in his life where he didn’t have time to “waste” on people who won’t “respect” him.
Since Meri’s catfishing scandal in 2015, Kody has never been able to forgive her and often cites the betrayal as the cause of their demise. Kody stated in Sister Wives season 16 that he was no longer attracted to her or desired an intimate relationship with Meri. For years, fans have urged Meri to leave Kody, but she has insisted on staying. While fans feel Kody’s recent decision could be the spark Meri needed to leave, fans will have to wait and see what will happen as the season unfolds.
