7 Little Johnstons‘ parents Trent Johnston and his wife, Amber Johnston, have been dealing with many family issues. TLC fans know that most times, Amber and Trent can be too overbearing when trying to keep control of their children. They recently underwent a terrifying experience with their son Jonah Johnston.
Jonah experienced a nasty and scary effect after trying a substance called Delta 8. Since then, the Johnston parents have ramped up their parental control obsession even more.
Fans believe the reality television parents are going way overboard, especially since most of their children are now all adults. Regardless, mom and dad are keeping a close watch on their kids, which could harm his health.
7 Little Johnstons: Doctors Advise Trent to Focus on His Health
During a recent checkup, doctors told the 7 little Johnstons father that he suffers from a serious sleep disorder called sleep apnea. This is not the first time Trent has battled issues with his sleep.
He first began having problems 15 years ago. During the past several years, he has undergone treatment twice. Now his symptoms have returned and seem to be getting more severe.
Per the Mayo Clinic, sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder in which breathing reportedly stops and starts. The website advises that you should see a doctor if you have symptoms including snoring loudly and feeling tired after a full night’s sleep.
Early detection and treatment might help prevent heart problems and other serious complications. Trent is not the only member of his family with sleep apnea. The 7 Little Johnstons star says both his parents suffer from the condition.
He also lost his brother because of sleep apnea. So, it is a serious condition within the Johnston family that Trent needs to take very seriously.
TLC Star Relies on His Spouse
Amber Johnston says she does not mind looking after her husband. The 7 Little Johnstons matriarch says when Trent was away undergoing another sleep study, she was excited to get to sleep without him, saying she had a whole night of uninterrupted sleep.
All kidding aside, Amber says she knows sleep apnea is serious and stays on him to ensure he is doing everything needed to keep on top of things.
However, TLC fans say that they believe Amber is likely a real stickler regarding Trent. They also think if she is adamant about controlling his health as she controls her adult children’s lives, then the 7 Little Johnstons star is in for quite some time.
