Double Down with the Derricos is back for its fourth season and filming has officially begun.
The news came thanks to an Instagram Stories post from Derrick Derrico, who posted a photo and wrote: “Back on set! Filming season 4 of Doubling Down with the Derricos on @tlc and @discoveryplus. I’m so thankful to be a part of this adventure :)) Love you guys.”
Double Down with the Derricos Currently filming Season 4
The third season of Double Down with the Derricos had its fair share of tragedy for the family of 16. That season, Karen announced she was pregnant with her 15th child, but it all ended in a miscarriage. Going through the loss of the baby, the couple decided they might want to move to Karen’s home state of South Carolina. They decided to live in both Las Vegas and South Carolina, but then more bad news came.
Deon’s mother announced her lung cancer had returned, and the season ended with them putting the move on hold as GG began her treatment. Fans weren’t sure there would be a fourth season, but Karen said she prayed that TLC would give it the green light and say they’d keep fans updated.
Prayers have been answered and fans are getting Season 4 of Double Down starring the Derricos. What can fans expect from season four? According to Karin , GG’s health is improving and she has “days of ups and downs”. The question now concerns the possible move to South Carolina, which the kids weren’t all happy about.
What will Double Down with the Derricos Season 4 be like?
Featuring Double Down with the Derricos With Season 4 currently filming, fans may be wondering what to expect. First of all, the whole family will be back. These include Darian, 16; Derrick, 11; 10-year-old twins Dallas and Denver; 8-year-olds Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Deniko and Dariz; 4-year-old Diez and Dior; and 2-year-olds Dawsyn, De’Aren and Dyver.
to South Carolina to live half a year will probably be a story. That could be on hold thanks to GG’s medical issues. There will also be the usual family stuff. Darian is old enough to drive. Derrick, Dallas and Denver have reached their tween years. Plus, the little ones all remain a handful.
Describing Double Down with the Derricos , TLC said: “Karen & Deon Derrico are parents to four sets of multiples – 14 children including quintuplets – who were conceived NATURALLY! The birth of their triplets presents the couple with new challenges that will test everything they know about parenting.”
Double Down with the Derricos should return to TLC in either late 2022 or early 2023.
