Welcome to Plathville viewers were happy to see Moriah Plath take some time for herself as she vacationed in Jamaica. The TLC star is moving on after a breakup, and trying to figure out who she is as a single woman. The trip couldn’t come at a better time, especially since Moriah will have to relive all of her emotional pain as the new season airs.
Moriah Plath and Max Kallschmidt were still a couple as season 3 drew to a close, but during the show’s hiatus, Max revealed that he had cheated on the singer. It was obvious to fans that Moriah had put everything she had into her relationship with Max, only to be let down. As TLC viewers know, Moriah has not had the easiest life, thanks to her extremely sheltered upbringing. Since leaving the family home, Moriah has been able to spread her wings, by dying her hair and wearing whatever she wants. Even though she seemed to have gotten everything she wanted, she still ended up getting hurt. Now, Moriah is taking some much-needed “me time,” and enjoying an island getaway.
As she explored the beautiful island of Jamaica, Moriah kept her followers up to date . She traveled there with her two brothers, Ethan and Micah Plath, as well as her sister-in-law, Olivia Plath. The group flew to Jamaica to celebrate Ethan’s 24th birthday. Traveling abroad wasn’t that easy, as the group had to deal with some changes and delays along the way. However, they made it, and seemed to celebrate in style. Moriah wore her signature bright colors and skimpy outfits, which blended in perfectly in the tropical paradise.
According to the Welcome to Plathville star, she tried out some traditional cuisine, and even bonded with a few of the locals. One photo showed Moriah making a heart with a new friend that she had spent time with. It looks like she even got to play the guitar with some Jamaican musicians. The second oldest Plath daughter revealed to fans that the trip was one of the best experiences she’d ever had. She was thrilled to have met such wonderful people along her journey.
Welcome to Plathville fans think that this may have been Moriah’s first trip out of the country. Viewers were more than happy to see the star venture abroad and meet new people, since she lived in rural Georgia for so many years of her young life. With season 4 only a few episodes in, fans will undoubtedly get a more candid reveal of what happened in Moriah’s life. Hopefully, she will overcome any issues and persevere.
