90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ Alina was fired from the show and future spin-offs for her multiple racist posts but says her friends support her.

90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite turned villain Alina Kozhevnikova says her friends still support her after she was fired by TLC for her racist posts. The Russian native found herself in hot water after reposting a photo from her “gender bender” homecoming week party from when she stayed in the U.S. that contained the n-word in its caption. Since then, many more posts by Alina were uncovered including one where she was excited to attend an n-word party and another mocking the Muslim religion. It appears producers were left horrified by Alina’s actions, and she was sacked from her existing 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episodes, the Tell-All, and any future seasons or spin-offs.

Alina made history by being the first little person in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise due to her diastrophic dysplasia disorder. Her storyline on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 was also unique because she and Caleb have known each other for 13 years. Now that Alina has been shown the door for her offensive posts, it’s unclear what happens to Caleb and even Alina’s best friend and roommate Elijah, who also gained popularity amongst viewers. Both Caleb and Elijah spoke in favor of Alina after her first post with the racist slur emerged. “All I know is that in my heart of hearts Alina is not a racist,” were Caleb’s words even as he mentioned, “I don’t condone any sort of prejudice or racism.”

While Alina has not reacted to the news of her firing on social media, she recently posted a series of Instagram stories responding to certain DMs she’s received from TLC viewers. “Hey guys, I was skimming through my DMs today and I got a couple of really funny DMs,” Alina shared. Apparently, the messages said things about Alina’s friends building her “confidence so much like it’s a bad thing.” She laughed, “which I found kind of a bad thing because isn’t that what friends [are] supposed to do like…” Alina asked her followers, “I think if you don’t like the person you don’t support this person why are you even friends?”

Alina wanted to know, “if you don’t think good stuff about each other it’s like why are you friends?” Alina went on to claim, “I always say compliments to like people and especially my friends I always say how proud I am of them because I really am and I really love them and I really respect them so…” She feels it’s “funny” how people can DM her about it. While Alina didn’t mention which friends she was referring to in her IG stories, it could very likely be Elijah and Maria, who have been a part of her 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days adventures with Caleb.

Viewers slammed BFF band member Elijah’s lengthy statement defending Alina after her trio of racially insensitive posts. Viewers were put off by Elijah claiming Alina is open-minded and was unaware she had been offensive when she made the posts. Meanwhile, Maria commented, “When someone from Russia says [the n-word], it has no reference to the days of slavery,” in her statement. Alina seems pleased that her friends have her back despite everything that’s happened. Whether this list of friends includes Caleb is not known. However, with Alina’s exit, some 90 Day Fiancé viewers expect to see Caleb in a new spin-off.
