The controversial couple of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, Steven Johnston and Alina are still together after one year of being married.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member Steven Johnston has been forgiven by Russian wife Alina for all his terrible past mistakes that came to light during season 3 and the Tell-All. If fans were to pick a “villain” of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off’s 2021 edition, it would easily be Utah native Steven. Steven flew to Turkey after having been in an online relationship with Alina for a year with an intention of getting married and moving to Russia. However, in his head, Steven was still living a bachelor life, going on dates behind Alina’s back and also sending explicit DMs to fans after marrying the young woman to have a threesome.
The 21-year-old reality TV star Alina let go of her promising career in the hopes of becoming Steven’s wife. This also included Steven, 25, wanting her to convert to Mormonism while he indulged in cherry-picking from the faith and being a hypocrite. Not a virgin when expecting Alina to be one, Steven had seemingly also betrayed, if not cheated on his ex-girlfriend before Alina, Vanessa, who exposed him on the Tell-All. He had gone to Russia on an internship and slept with two women there at once. A weepy Vanessa warned Alina and begged her to divorce Steven on the shocking 90 Day Fiancé reunion.
But Alina had faith in Steven and claimed that he loved her so he’d change. The aspiring digital artist Alina shared that they had scheduled a therapy session that would hopefully bring out the best in Steven which it seemingly may have. The young pair recently took a trip to Dubai where Steven and Alina celebrated one year of being married and shared several romantic photos proving they’re still together. In his new post where Steven and Alina can be seen kissing with the Burj Khalifa in the background, the former salesman wrote, “Thank you for forgiving me and helping me repent.” Steven then thanked Alina for agreeing to travel with him and added, “Most of all thank you for loving me.”
The caption saw Steven admiring the “human race” and its capabilities of creating cities, islands, or discovering secrets of the universe. Steven mentioned that being in Dubai with his “best friend” reminded him of all the “awesome things” that humans can do. “Loving each other is by far the most amazing accomplishment,” Steven confessed, perhaps trying to imply that he’s now fully invested in being a good husband to his 90 Day Fiancé co-star Alina. She too commented on Steven’s telling photo with a bunch of heart emoji, signaling that all is well between them as of now.
When fans saw Steven manipulating Alina on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way repeatedly, all they could do was ask her to “run” in the comments in the hopes of rescuing her from the relationship. It’s clear now that Alina is not interested in leaving Steven which makes fans think if she’s used the show along with him for the sake of fame. She was called out when Alina tried to get money for her education by starting a fundraiser online claiming that moving to Turkey has been a setback to her finances. And given that Alina and Steven seem to be going on one vacation after another per their Instagram, fans have deduced that the couple has managed to resolve most of their problems thanks to 90 Day Fiancé.
