1000-lb Sisters: Dr. Procter Sends Tammy Slaton to Dr. Eric Smith
Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters is now seeing Dr. Eric Smith in hopes of getting weight loss surgery. He was introduced in Season 2 and is her new bariatric doctor. He works in Georgetown, Kentucky at Georgetown Bariatrics and Advanced Surgical Services.
However, she wasn’t always being treated by Dr. Eric Smith. Previously, Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters worked with Dr. Charles Procter Jr. At the beginning of her weight loss journey with Procter, she weighed in at 595 pounds.
But, Dr. Procter decided to send her to Dr. Eric Smith after she wasn’t successful with losing weight with him. Also, Soap Dirt reported Dr. Procter said she may have more success under the care of Dr. Eric Smith because she lives closer to his facility. He hopes she can get better results with the new physician.

The Season 3 previews of 1000-lb Sisters, has many fans convinced Tammy’s put on more weight since last season. While the promo videos show her stepping onto the scale – the number 640 pops up on the digital readout. However, the scale is still climbing past that number. Several fans believe she weighs more than she did at the end of Season 2.
How high will that number climb before it stops? Also, there are several updates about Tammy that don’t line up with what she said in the past. In real-time, it seems that Tammy Slaton’s still using her wheelchair and her oxygen tank.
