Breaking down all the 90 Day Fiancé cast members who gave their partners a second chance. Find out how these 90 Day couples did on their second try.

Many 90 Day Fiancé couples break up and are lauded by viewers until they shockingly decide to give their relationship another shot eventually, but it hasn’t always been a good idea for these cast members to give their respective partners a second chance. Overall, fans usually think it’s a bad idea for 90 Day Fiancé stars to give their partners another chance. For some reason, however, there are several cast members who have looked past serious offenses and taken back their significant other.

Over the years, many 90 Day Fiancé couples were doomed from the start. Thus, an initial breakup typically doesn’t come as a surprise. On the other hand, there have been several 90 Day Fiancé stars who ignored cheating, toxic behavior, and copious red flags in their relationship and partner in order to follow the path to reconciliation.

Fans may not agree with or understand one’s decision to forgive a partner, but that hasn’t stopped a lot of lovestruck 90 Day Fiancé cast members. Sometimes, it really takes several examples of inexcusable behavior before a 90 Day Fiancé star gets the message that their partners are never going to change. Some of these individuals have reached their limits and cut ties, while others are still trying to keep their relationships afloat.

Ellie Rose

Ellie moved to Providencia on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way to be with Victor McLean. While they were dating long-distance, Victor had an entire other relationship, and Ellie broke up with Victor after the other woman he was seeing contacted her. Ellie eventually forgave him, though previews for the rest of the season make it look like the issue was never fully resolved. As expected, many fans think she’s making a mistake because Victor cheated on her in the past.

Evelin Villegas

Evelin isn’t well-liked by a lot of fans, and she’s also gotten criticism for giving Corey Rathberger another chance after he cheated on her. Though Corey thought they were on a break, Evelin felt betrayed when he seemed to get too close to one woman in particular. Though the couple is giving their relationship another go, Evelin still hasn’t gotten over what happened. In a recent episode, Corey and Evelin started couple’s therapy, but whether it will help is anyone’s guess.

Ashley Martson

This couple’s troubles started just as soon as they got married, and to say Ashley and Jay Smith’s relationship was a rocky road is putting it mildly. Jay was busted for talking to other women online and having a dating app, causing Ashley to break up with him for the first time. The couple eventually filed for divorce three times before calling it quits for good. Overall, Ashley may have given Jay too many chances but she seems to have finally learned her lesson.

Matt Ryan & Alla Fedoruk

Matt and Alla are one of the few examples of a second chance having a happy ending. The two met through an online dating service many years before going on 90 Day Fiancé, but Matt and Alla stopped talking after Matt met and married his third wife. After his third divorce, however, Matt and Alla reconnected and decided to give their relationship a real chance. Now, the couple is happily married and just welcomed a new baby.

Mike Youngquist

After Natalie Mordovtseva threw her engagement ring at Mike on 90 Day Fiancé season 7, viewers assumed that was the last they would see of them. Alas, the couple showed up again next season after Natalie’s K1-visa was approved. Many fans think Mike made a big mistake giving his relationship another chance. After Natalie arrived in America, they made each other completely miserable. Thus, their relationship probably should have probably ended in Ukraine.

For 90 Day Fiancé stars and the population at large, it can be extremely tempting to take back a partner after a breakup – the devil you know often feels like the best option. Most times, however, it can be tricky to revisit a previously toxic or incompatible relationship. Fans are usually against relationships 2.0, but that clearly didn’t stop these cast members from going against their better judgment.
